That being said, our owner Sam Boak often gets questions about our services and what we can or cannot do. To share this crucial information with all of our customers, we put this list together of our Exterior Contracting Services FAQ’s:

Q: I want a patio with a roof added to my home. Can Boak & Sons do that?

A: We are certainly happy to put a roof on a patio for you. However, we can’t build the patio itself. What we can do is give you the names of contractors we recommend to do that job! We often work with other companies that offer exterior contracting services and are happy to share their great work with our customers.

Q: I need the old insulation in my house removed and replaced. Can Boak & Sons do that?

A: It depends. We can remove the old insulation, but there are varying degrees in the work. We may have to use a vacuum to remove the attic insulation and if the insulation in your walls needs removed, the drywall will have to be removed as well. We can also give you alternatives to removal to help save you money! We also typically can’t just add new insulation to existing, which you can read more about here. This is something Sam Boak is especially an expert in because he started Boak & Sons as an insulation company!

Q: I need some structural work done in my home due to water damage from a roof leak. Can Boak & Sons do that?

A: Boak & Sons does not offer structural construction services. We strictly offer exterior contracting services because that’s what we do best. We can recommend our preferred contractors for jobs like this that are licensed and insured to do this work!

Q: I need a new roof, but I also need new siding. Can Boak & Sons do that?

A: Absolutely! We would never limit a customer to one service. If you need two shingles replaced, we can help. Need an entirely new roof? We can help! Want to add new siding to your contract? Let’s do it. Our exterior contracting services cover more than just roofing, even though that’s something we’re well-known for.
