Next week on December 6th, we will be hosting our Annual Safety Day meeting! At Boak & Sons, Inc., safety is our number one rule. Every year, our entire company is paid to attend our Annual Safety Day meeting to receive updated training on safety requirements, company updates and other important developments in residential and commercial contracting in insulation, roofing and sheetmetal. This meeting is a requirement for all Boak & Sons employees, from field crew members to office staff.
Exterior contracting is a growing vocation, and with that comes frequent changes. While our project managers regularly update their crews throughout the year, Safety Day is important to bring the entire team together so nobody misses crucial information and training. On top of the safety information, employees also get thorough training on benefits offered by Boak & Sons. The day consists of several briefings from lead employees at Boak & Sons, such as Vice President of Operations, Chris White.
“Safety Day is vital to our company not only because of the safety information but also because it gives us a chance to bring the whole team together to help them understand all the benefits they receive while working for Boak & Sons,” says Chris. “We explain employee benefits such as the 401K and profit sharing program, as well as their health benefits and pay process. Many employees in residential and commercial contracting business like ours could go months without even knowing about all the benefits that are available to them. Safety Day allows us to make sure every single employee knows exactly what options are available to them so they can make the most of working at Boak & Sons.”
We can’t wait for Safety Day! Keep watching our social media for updates during and after the event. To learn more about our residential and commercial contracting services at Boak & Sons, visit our website or call 330-793-5646 today!
