2020 was a busy year for Sam Boak and the siding contractors at Boak & Sons. With so many people staying home, many of them decided to start making improvements to their houses! Our siding contractors worked hard throughout the year to satisfy each customer’s request, and we couldn’t help but notice a trend in the color choices for new siding jobs. We decided to share those three siding colors, just in case some of our customers are looking for some inspiration!
- Clay
Clay siding is one of the most common neutral tan colors our siding contractors have installed this year. It’s a beautiful, warm color that matches just about anything else you want to put on your home from the shingles to the shutters and landscaping. Clay also shows less dirt because of its natural tan tones.
- Sable Brown
While in pictures this color might look like a charcoal gray, in person you can really see the brown color coming through. Sam Boak himself says this color is absolutely stunning on a home if you like a darker look. It’s a less common color that really took off this past year because it gives the home a charming look that is sure to stand out from other homes! It also matches well with many different shingle colors and styles. We’ve installed this siding color on many different homes, all with different front doors and landscaping features. We have yet to see a home that doesn’t look beautiful after it’s installed!
- Sterling Gray
If you want a modern farmhouse look with a soft gray tone, Sterling Gray is the perfect color for your home’s new siding. This is a personal favorite of many of our siding contractors because while it’s a neutral color, it’s different from your standard neutral tan siding tones that so many homes have. This siding color especially looks great with black gutters and windows, but will match pretty much any existing feature on your home.
