You can search for tan shingles, brown, black, gray, etc. and when you find a home you like, save the photo so you have it as a reference! Pay attention to other elements of the homes you’re looking at, such as the siding color. Black shingles will look different on a gray sided home than they will on a tan sided home, so just keep that in mind.
- Another research method you can use is to visit a shingle contractor, like Owens Corning’s website and browse their shingle catalog. This will give you examples of actual colors in stock, many of which we install ourselves!
